BACKGROUNDA startup in need of a stronger digital presence
McCarren is an RFP platform startup that utilizes AI to draft, build, and send proposals quickly. As a two-month-old company, they were in the early stages of acquiring clients but needed a more polished, professional landing page to establish credibility.
CHALLENGEA website that lacked clarity, scalability, and engagement
Their original landing page had unclear messaging, weak branding, and limited structure, making it difficult for users to understand McCarren’s value. The startup also needed additional pages, including a blog, privacy policy, and scalable UI framework for future growth.
STRATEGY Auditing, ideating, and stakeholder collaboration
We began with a homepage audit to identify usability issues, followed by stakeholder meetings to align on business goals and user needs. Competitive analysis provided insights into best practices for AI-driven SaaS platforms. These steps guided our design approach.

Branding directions and iterative prototyping
We explored three homepage design directions, refining the content structure and messaging based on feedback. Our iterative prototyping process focused on usability, branding, and engagement, ensuring an intuitive and visually compelling experience. We also defined additional pages, such as the blog and privacy policy, to support McCarren AI’s growth.

RESPONSIVE & INTERACTIVE DESIGN
Ensuring seamless usability across devices
We created responsive designs tailored for desktop, tablet, and mobile, ensuring a consistent user experience across all screen sizes. To guide development, we provided UX annotations for animations and interactions, detailing hover states, transitions, and microinteractions for a more engaging interface.
IMPLEMENTATION & LAUNCH
Bringing the vision to life
After finalizing the design, we handed off a detailed implementation package to the development team. The redesigned McCarren AI website launched in August 2024, providing a stronger foundation for client acquisition and future expansion.
