BACKGROUNDRefining how Perpetual showcases its work
During my internship at Perpetual, a leading design and development agency, I was tasked to refresh the Work page to better present its case studies. The existing page lacked visual consistency, making it difficult for potential clients to quickly grasp the agency’s expertise. My goal was to redesign the case study cards, establish a scalable format for all case studies, and prepare high-fidelity designs for development.

CHALLENGE
An inconsistent and outdated case study experience
The existing Work page presented case studies in an inconsistent format, with varying image quality and unclear content structure. The redesign needed to create a cohesive visual system that improved readability, highlighted Perpetual’s best work, and maintained a polished brand identity.
STRATEGY & DESIGN PROCESS
Exploring design directions and refining case study visuals
To begin, I analyzed competitors to understand how leading agencies structure and present their case studies. Using these insights, I developed three distinct design directions for the case study cards, each exploring different approaches to layout, hierarchy, and imagery.
After team feedback, I finalized a high-fidelity design system, ensuring the new format was both visually engaging and scalable. Beyond updating the UI, I standardized each case study’s content, ensuring alignment with the new design.
A key part of this process involved backtracking to locate original design files, replacing outdated assets with higher-resolution images to enhance the visual quality of every case study. This meticulous update ensured a consistent and polished presentation across the entire Work page.
IMPLEMENTATION & LAUNCH
Delivering a refined and development-ready design
Once the high-fidelity designs were complete, I prepared the final assets for handoff, ensuring a smooth transition to development. The updated Work page now provides a cohesive and visually striking showcase of Perpetual’s case studies, strengthening the agency’s ability to attract new clients.
OUTCOME
A more structured, high-quality case study experience
The redesign improved visual consistency, readability, and image quality, resulting in a more engaging experience for visitors. The streamlined case study format ensures that Perpetual’s projects are presented in the best possible light, reinforcing the agency’s credibility and design expertise.

This project emphasized the importance of visual consistency and asset quality in case study presentation. Standardizing formatting and improving image resolution had a significant impact on the overall professionalism and clarity of the page.
